Got my AC Bee proofed today

Well today i got the AC bee proofed. Well 90%, i actually forgot that the AC cover bottom up on the roof also has vent places and also the top cover does not go all the way down to cover all the fins on the AC.

But its a start, at least it might slow them down.

I used screen door screening $9 a roll at lowes. And as long as i check it once in a while to make sure its not clogged with debri it should be OK for a few years.

I use clear silicone, so its white now but drives clear. The nice thing is that when the time comes to replace the screen i should be able to just remove the screen and the silicone in one big peel job.

I did that same project a while back with stainless hardware cloth but ended up taking it off because it seemed to impede the air flow to the point that the indoor cooling suffered....
