I am with the group that never leaves any valve open. Like some others, I do not even get my hose out until it is time to dump and that can be for days.

My thoughts exactly. I have a 70 gallon grey tank, so it takes awhile to fill up. Maybe if I had a 25 gallon grey I would do it differently.
