Great buy on a Porter Cable air compressor
I’ve been looking for some time for a Craftsmen or a Porter Cable air compressor to carry in my coach, I was waiting for a sale and today I found one. While I was in Home Depot today I spotted a Porter Cable 150 PSI for the price of $99.00 The best price I’ve seen is on line at Amazon.com for $143.09. If you are thinking of one, I would suggest you go to Home Depot to take advantage of this price.

That IS a good price. We got our little Craftsman 150psi on sale for $89 5 years ago & wouldn't be without it.

I don't think anyone expects a $99 compressor to run eight hours a day, five days a week for years. However, it can reasonably be expected to be an economical means to occasionally air up a tire when needed.

Problem is the new one is probably not the same quality as the five year old one.

Look in the pawn shops and you may find just one in like new condition for a good price, and often the store owner will negotiate on the price.. At least I find that to be the case.

I got a Craftsman for 89 dollars and I love it. In fact it would take a lot to buy it if i could not get another one. Now I can ''air up my tires'' without moving the coach. It will power an air impact gun if I need to change a tire and I have ''rescued'' a couple of fellow travelers with it. It is light, portable, Fast and it works like a charm and you can not beat the price for the quality received in the product.
Lets all ask someone to bring our troops home real soon.

I have to ask; What is on the shelves that's NOT Chinese stuff? All the manufacturing has gone to China, it's what were talking about, cheaper in price. Quality and price go hand in hand for the most part, it's very difficult to find anything made in the states anymore, one might try but it's not easy.
