Great Companies to work with!!!

We just attended our first FMCA National Rally at Redmond, OR. While there in the 90 degree temps our generator failed to keep running and the A/C would not work. Since we have a service dog that had to be kept cool we were in a real pickle. I went to the folks at Cummins Northwest and talked to Mike Ripberger and Chris Owen. These guys were swampped with work and had an obligation to their Cummins and Onan customers but came to our coach after they were finished with their work for the day..arriving around 5:30PM and worked on the Power Tech genset for an hour or more to adapt a Onan fuel pump. This included them having to drive into town to get the necessary parts to make the fittings work from a local hardware store. Once the new fuel pump was installed they made sure it was working prior to leaving. These guys were just great...their hard work kept us from having to leave the Rally the day we got there. I've never met such nice and dedicated people. What a great way to start our first National Rally...by seeing how dedicated these folks at Cummins Northwest are to keeping not only their customers happy but others as well. Many thanks to Mike and Chris for helping us to be able to stay and enjoy the rally.

I'll second the great companies that attended & helped at the Redmond FMCA Rally.
The Cummins/Onan folks helped us a bunch with getting correct filters/oil/maintenance manual for our generator. The manual that came with the coach was for a small gas generator, not our diesel, & we just didn't trust that the dealer had in fact done the 50 hour service.
Interstate Battery came & replaced, under warranty, our chassis batteries late Saturday when we discovered they were dead. They had to go into town to competitor & purchase 1 of the batteries since they only had 1 left.
Brazels came Sunday morning when 1 of our pins on the tow hitch no longer fit...too much sun???....a couple of minutes fitting & grinding & we were good to go.
This was also our first Rally and we REALLY enjoyed it! Learned lots & spent lots! Trying to decide if a trip from Oregon to Wisconsin is in our future

Addition to my orginal post..Great Companies

After talking to Mr. Clare James of Power Technologies the manufacturer of my Genset, he asked us to send him the invoice from Cummins Northwest and he would reimburse us for the amount we paid Cummins Northwest to replace our fuel pump on the genset. This is also great customer service for a company that did not have any techs at the rally. Not much more a customer can ask for then that. Thanks Mr. James.
