There is a BRAT bus system I think that can take you other places in County. Several small vans/taxis. Pretty reasonably priced, especially from bars!

I'm still wondering if you have vision problems, how do you drive your RV?

I mentioned the colder temps so you'll keep an eye on hoses, and keeping the holding tanks warm enough so as not to freeze. Last thing you need is busted water pipes.

Hi brabono, never gave the thought to the local bus service. That is a good option that I will keep in mind. Thanks.

Hi twogypies. I don't drive the rv. It has to be someone else. Usually my sister. But she still works. This next winter should be her last. Then she will drive the rv to our winter destination, wherever that will be. I can't even get a drivers license anymore, can't pass the eye test. So I have state ID

You're right Ramets, the last thing a person needs is broken water pipes. My holding tanks are in a heated space, and where the water pump and other piping is, is also a heated compartment. And I don't mind making sure that there is enough heat to keep things right. Thanks for passing on the info.

We're here in Foley, and the guy parked next to us woke up earlier this week to his outside hose frozen solid. He didn't heed the advice to unhook and drain his hose. But this morning at 7am it was over 70 degrees.
