Gutter material

Anyone have any experience, good or bad with the flexible guttering material?

That is mostly the answer I was looking for, now, a stoooop-ed one...did you have any trouble forming the material around the window.

The instructs say it is best to stick it to the window frame itself, rather than the side...but...the way the material is coiled up in the package makes it want to turn opposite to the way it should go...does this make any sense..or, am I blathering???
I don't trust the tape to hold on if I have to force it into a radius opposite of what it "wants" to go...
