Haha - my map is sad!

Love these state maps, so I thought I would try one. Since I don't own an RV yet, my only state is where I live. LOL I crack myself up

I've been searching eBay for a magnet one for the fridge. Just 'cuz I don't own a rig doesn't mean I can't start decorating

We have the removable kind. It has suction cups. When we travel it is in the slide window. When we park it is in the windshield.

We are missing four states. North and South Dakota, Nebraska, and one you can't see, Delaware. We were missing Utah until this trip and not having Utah made the map look funny. We will shortly be fixin' the three upper middle states.

Katina & Dave, you can get the suction cup ones at Camping World, at least that is where we picked up ours.

Mamadubbs, you are one step closer to the dream.

Happy trails.

I put mine on a piece of plexiglas glass and had it on the inside of main door attached with Velcro. It was completely ( minus Hawaii ) filled in. When we sold that MH we removed it and had it framed and it hangs in our S& B house now. Almost have enough to fill up another one but we just keep track in our heads now. No need to get another map. Another cool thing we did was to buy a large map of North America and had it mounted on a foam back and framed without glass. We then took different color pins and placed them every place we went. Each color represented a different year and we put a legend in the lower corner.

I saw a Class "C" at an RV show that had a real Rand McNally map of the U.S. molded into the finished top of the dinette table.

I always loved that idea, and thought it would be fun for trip planning and conversation, but never saw it again

Maybe a plexi-glass top to cover/hold a map on our current rigs dinette table....hmmm

Here is the link that I used. Once my map was made, I saved the pic as a jpeg and then uploaded it as my profile pic.

The table map sounds like a great conversation piece! We don't have a dinette table & really wouldn't have much opprotunity to show it off as we don't usually have guests in the motorhome.
