Haier washer/dryer combo not drying as well as it used to...

It is only 2 years old, but recently, we have to run the dry cycle at least twice to get a small load done. YES, we are only loading it up half-way or less, so plenty of room for the clothes to tumble.

It used to be pretty darned dry after a More Dry cycle, but now we have to do at least two, if not more cycles. Often, we just take the clothes out and hang them to finish drying.

Has anyone had this issue and what did you have to do to make it dry well again?

Don't know about your W/D, but our Splendide 2000 was doing that exact thing when we bought the MH. The flexible hose between the drum and the back of the unit was totally clogged with lint. The previous owners had obviously not been cleaning the lint filter!

Yes...your exhaust is full of lint...best to clean it for efficiency and to mitigate fire risk.

Since there is typically little access to the rear of RV washer/dryers, they often use a lot of dryer hose so it can be attached while the dryer is out. Once shoved back in, the excess hose makes for easy lint built up. At a minimum, you'll need to gain access to that hose and clean it.

If it's full of lint, it's also a fire hazard, something I would service right away.

OOPS! I should have mentioned that it is a ventless/ductless dryer. The kind that takes three hours to dry on a normal day, by condensation or some such process.

Wow, that has to be adding a tremendous amount of moisture into your coach! Is that causing a lot of condensation inside the rig?

No added moisture. It actually accumulates on the inside of the front door, drains down to the bottom of the door, and goes into a drain pipe and down into the sewer hose. It doesn't go into the holding tanks but goes straight out the tube.

Watch the beginning of this video I did for my washer/dryer - ventless install. It covers the problem you are having. It’s either the kinked hose or you need to clean the condenser tank.

Finally got a chance to get into the machine. The hose is a bit different, smaller diameter "fuel line", but it did semi-kink as it went down into the back of the machine. I trimmed off some of the other end, maybe an inch, to pull it a bit to make it a smoother transition.

Running our first load now. Hope it works better...
