Smile Hail damage

My 1998 Rambler Endeavor was ambushed by a hail storm about a year ago. I replaced all the plastic covers- nothing leaks. Today I noticed the dents in the aluminum top are now black with mold spots. Is it recommended that I paint the top, just clean the top or just be thankful it doesn’t leak. Any suggestions?

Let it sit in the sun and using heavy gloves, place a brick,of dry ice over the dent. It should pop out. They do that at docks where ships drop them off. Won't work on compound curves but great on flat areas.

Metal roof? I'd clean it well with a strong bleach solution and paint it.

The dry ice trick may work, but a lot of effort if there are dozens (or hundreds?) of dents.
