We started looking at 5th wheel Toy haulers, as we like to go to various riding areas with our Polaris RZR. after looking at a few, we thought wow, you could live in one of these! That started my research into full time RV living. That's how I found this and other websites on RV living and lifestyle. Sense we have never owned a RV before and retirement is still 3-4 years away, we decided to buy a cheap class C to take out on weekends and get used to RVing. After looking at quite a few older used ones, my wife decided she would be more comfortable in a newer one, that still has a warranty. That's when we found our 2013 Nexus Phantom 28P for sale in Chicago. Although it was slightly used, (2600 miles)It was too good a deal to pass up. Bought it in May this year and have put over 3000 miles on it and numerous trips without a single issue. We really like the drivability and easy setup of the class C so much that we will probably stick with it for fulltiming. It's 30ft and has plenty of room for the two of us and plenty of cargo space. It is also great for the different riding areas we visit, I can't imagine trying to get a big TH in some of these areas! I guess we got lucky on our first RV purchase, it may be our last.
