After all the issues with travel trailers after past disasters causing the occupants all kinds of respiratory problems and all the lawsuits that followed because of all the respiratory problems, I would think that they might look for another type of long term, temp housing. Not to mention how much the contractors were getting paid to set those trailers up,that alone should be on the show AMERICAN GREED. It would make a 1 hour show that would make every american taxpayer puke.

Boomertx,

You're going against the global warming/climate change narrative by bringing up factual history...

Well, let's try 1000 year event. From Washington Post.

From different news articles and to give some perspecteive to those who have not see the news we see here on the Gulf Coast

Nine (9) trillion gallons of water fell on Houston. (33 trillion overall in the U.S.)

9 trillion gallons of water could fill the Great Salt Lake - twice

It would take 9 days straight of the Mississippi river draining int Houston to equal that amount of water

If we averaged this amount of water spread equally over the lower 48 states, that’s the equivalent of about 0.17 inches of rain — roughly the height of three pennies stacked atop each other — occupying every square inch of the contiguous United State.

This amount of water could fill 2.3 percent of the volume of the mountain range containing Mount Everest in Nepal and is enough to occupy 33,906 Empire State Buildings, from basement to penthouse.

Remember Katrina and New Orleans? New Orleans saw 10 to 20 feet of water due to levee failure. If you took the amount of rainfall Texas has seen and spread it over New Orleans city limits it would tower to 128 feet in height. Approximately 12 story office building.

9 trillion gallons of water is about the equivalent of 2 weeks of Niagra Falls flowing.

9 trillion gallons of water would fill 14 million Olympic swimming pools.

The National Weather Service in Cedar Bayou, TX (a subdivision of Baytown, TX) reported 52 inches of rain.

Quite a comparison, eh?
