hi all! newbe here with a few questions.

first off.. great site, found it yesterday and have been lurking and learning. this site is really great!
I started out years ago with an old 1958 or so winneabego as a hunting rig for 150 bucks. mama said "she'd never sleep in it" but that little unit served us well, we would drag that thing all over utah camping and had a ton of fun.. it literally fell apart on us (door blew right off one time lol) we finally sold it for $200 and went to tenting. have been doing that for a few years and the wife is sick of all the totes and camping in bad weather.
now we found we are not camping as much and my kids are at the perfect ages to really enjoy it 10, and 12. so we saved up and bought us a 2006 25' fifth wheel 2 weeks ago. we have used it once so far and loved it! everything is so easy to use and automatic! (no more icebox)

so heres my question.. I have a hitch on the back of the 5th wheel and a small 4 wheeler trailer with 2 little atvs. im weary of hooking it on the 5er till i get a good feel for towing this rig, plus some people say not to do it. so what say you? would appreciate the input.
heres some deets. 5th wheel is 25', 7k dry, kingpin weight 1400. tv is 1999 f250 crew 7.3 powerstroke sw, new upgraded tranny, truck has 70k miles. exhaust was rusting out so i just put pro-flow exhaust and AFE intake on it. truck pulls it great, and its legal to pull a tag a long in utah. but I want to be safe. what do you guys think? thanks!

welcome lynnboyd.
On your towing question, I think you should be alright on towing a small trailer behind your fiver, as long as you don't push the limits. Drive carefully, anticapate your stops, and don't travel too fast.

The limit is going to be the hitch on the 5'er that will be towing the utility trailer. How the hitch is attached to the 5'er will be key. Unless the ATV's are positioned perfectly you will get porpoising.

Personally, I would not do it but thats me.
