Hired Driver for Class A Motorhome Transport

Are there companies that have insured drivers for moving Class A Motorhomes cross-country?

Have you tried contacting any local companies that sell new Class A coaches ?

They would probably have a list .

Also check out touring companies like Clair Global, they do this all day long. Hit any major concert and walk round back to the trucks & tour buses, probably 15 of them standing around deciding where to eat for dinner.

Prices range widely from sleeping in coach, to don,t touch anything pricing. Which would include hotels, ubers & airfare.

I met the driver that delivered my Winnebago from the factory. My Winne had 1900 miles on it and I found no evidence that he slept in it or used the facilities. I don't know how many hours or miles he drove each day. He wanted directions to the bus station for his return trip home. I tried to get a little info from him on pay, etc but he didn't give me any details

I don't know if they only do factory deliveries or also private party.

Check Horizon Transport in Elkhart, IN. Roughly, I think the fee is $1.50/mi.

I was told that the RV manufacturers pay pretty crappy. Can't remember any more of the specific $$ but they can't sleep or cook in the rv. Pay for fuel, food and motels on their own dime and pay for their own way home.
At the time I was told this I did some quick math in my head and figured maybe they cleared $100/day. Pretty crappy pay.
