Somewhere along I-81 today my wife and I stopped at a rest area. A fellow RV'er saw our FL plate and we started chatting. We were both on our way back home, avoiding I-95. I hope your family in Sarasota is safe. Looks like my family is almost out of harms way in Tampa. Special bond between RV'ers on the road. You may only meet for a moment, but the connection is strong.

Hi DCC, we just drove home from an aborted trip to Ft. Myers, arrived on Wednesday night. We saw many other RVs heading north, and said hello to most though we did not have a chance to chat-we tipped a hat (so to speak) when passing by them in the rest stops. As we were heading north we were passing dozens of trucks in convoys heading south - loaded with supplies and power workers. I wish you and yours well!
