I have a class A now. However, I've owned 3 class Cs in the past and none had a wet bay, much less a heated wet bay. My last class C was a 2007. Things may have changed since then. But based on my lot roaming and RV shows, I still don't think most class Cs have heated wet bays.

And, no, the OP has never returned with any specifics so we're all just typing to hear ourselves type at this point.

arrived at Cherry Hill Park this afternoon just north of Washington DC. Nice weather this afternoon but will drop to 27 the next three nights. Many sites still winterized. Last night in North Carolina my water hose froze Solid at 31 degrees. When I arrived at Cherry Hill I bought a heated hose which should solve waking up with no water. Our 40’ Class A has heated bays.

Why don't you just use your water tank and put the hose away?

Could have done that and did this morning but staying here for 18 nights so DW “recommended this purchase. Also since we full time between Florida and Seattle felt it an easy way to go

I’ve had wet bay C’s since 84. Fleetwood!
BUT, in the COLD, dropping hoses and going onboard worked. And it would work for the OP.
A “No risk” approach is downright nifty!

What do you think is going to keep the hydrant from freezing? Remove the hose!

Most Parks that are open in freezing weather have heated hydrant(heat tape) or are under ground with a cover. Others have a water station to fill on board tanks.

It's currently still winterized. We're traveling with our 4 young kids, can skip the water and use the campground's bathhouse if need be, but of course everything is easier with our own plumbing!

Thanks!
Use your Tanks as needed - Unhook water line at night as needed.

What other do is based on their comfort level/experience, we tend to travel more in the Off season as it is more to our liking, Less Crowded and More fun.

You will be fine just be smart at night and use both the water line and the tank - it just takes a Push of a Button to switch and a turn of the knob to prevent the freeze.

Best of Luck,

Everybody knows that water freezes at 32 degrees Right..
YES> Provided the water is distilled, and you are at precisely one atmosphere of pressure (Barometric)

Waste water is a LONG way from distilled and thus less likely to freeze at 32 or even 30.. What the freeze point is.. I DO NOT KNOW. Never tested it.

I was in Lothran? MD last weekend, DC area) and Friday arrival 80+
Saturday in Bowie (Like 17 miles away) when I rang the young lady's doorbell (Ok so it's a knocker) 80 on her porch. Sunday.. 50 and raining.
