How do you secure your TIRE COVERS?

I bought a set of foil reflective tire covers for when I store the MH in an exposed AZ sun lot. They came with two little elastic lines on each of the two corners, each with a plastic S-hook on the end. I suppose their idea was to clip the tow together but forget about that working.

What have others devised to make it easier to crawl under their (in my case a Class A) rig and quickly and easily secure their tire covers. Keep in mind this is a)not while pared at an RV park, 2)crawling around underneath on a gravel lot in 110* heat, and 3)need something just as easy to REMOVE as it is to install (I've seen some Rube Goldberg set-ups that are great if you're parked for months-and-months, but too cumbersome to remove).

Biggest problem for me is not in getting down n dirty, it's reaching behind and around 22.5" behemoth tires to reach the other clip on the opposite side of the tire cover. I need an easier way to grab ahold of that or instead attach it on each end and not to one another.

My MH came with a tool rod/hook to pull down the window awnings. I’ve found it very useful for hooking up the bungees on my tire covers. A bent coat hanger would likely serve the same purpose.

Our covers are a heavy vinyl and I've never secured them. I had one blow off in a high wind one time but was able to find it.

How do you secure your TIRE COVERS?

Not sure which forum I saw it on but I attached 8" lengths of the heaviest chain from Ace Hdw to the grommet on each side of the cover. Two chain sections per cover. Have not had a problem but have not been in extreme wind either.
Works great and easy installation. No time spent on knees or lying down.

I have the MagneShade covers, bungie cords just slip over the tires (365/70 front and tag with 315/80's on the drive). Easier to install if I don't air down first.
