How long is your power cord?

I have a Boondocker's Welcome site at my place, and recently ran 240 to the barn. The barn is about 25 feet from the back end of where a visiting RV might park.

What length power cord do you have? And for what kind of camper?

I have had people visit who carry 200 feet of 120V extension. But I am most concerned about the 50A hookups.

Thanks for your input.

The RV has about 30 usable feet of 50 amp, and I carry a 50ft 50-amp extension.

I'll bring as much as I need. Can I have the month of January? Oh, how much do you think I will need? How much sewer hose and water hose?

I think it might vary a bit depending on the RV.
Our entry level trailer we had probably had like a 25' cord.
Our step up second trailer had a 30' cord.
Our 5th wheel had a 35' cord.
Lastly our motorhome has a 50' cord.

We were staying at our sons business over the holidays and needed to buy an extension cord. They're not cheap, on top of that we've only used it twice I think.

So it sounds like based upon the responses so far, expecting a 30 to 35 foot cord for 50A service is not out of the norm.

I may add a mention that power is at barn, 25' from gravel parking area.

I hope you do not have the plug wired for 240 volts like on a drier or welded. The RV plug is wired as a 240 Volt, split phase connection with 120 volts on each hot leg.

Our 5er has a 30-foot 50-amp cord on the street side rear corner. I carry an additional 30-foot extension cord.

I suspect 25 to 30 feet is pretty much standard.

I had to replace the 50A cord in our Windsor. I bought a 40' which has always been more than enough at any campsite!

Dryers and welders are not wired the same, dryers have neutrals, welders don't. 50 amp RV connections are wired exactly like (4 wire) dryers and ranges though with the only difference being dryers are 30 amps, RVs and ranges are both 50 amps and identical in wiring. It really wouldn't even be possible to wire them differently using standard residential voltage and standard residential equipment.

This question is almost like asking someone, "How long is a piece of string"?
