We are at home. But we rarely travel in July and August because of the heat. We think it would be safe to go camping. However when we usually are camping we want to see the local attraction and are not ready to mingle with people right now.

Fulltimers stuck in a small town city-owned campground since the fall trying to get surgery to replace a knee and repair a torn rotator cuff. Did all the prep work then the pandemic hit. Everything medical is still on hold.
We're in a nice campground with huge Ponderosa pines though. We have Mulie deer and wild turkeys wandering through daily. Less than 100 yards away are two well-kept youth baseball/softball fields and a small rodeo arena. I grew up around horses, coached youth baseball for 13 years and umpired high school baseball and softball for 5 years so my entertainment needs are pretty well satisfied.
This is the first thing I saw this morning out my back window.Click image for larger version

My mom took a chance on me, and I've been taking a chance since. Be smart, be careful, use your head, and have a good time. Been in our motor home since last February. Life's to short, go and enjoy.

So, mark us in the NO category.

Be very careful out there. SD, stay away from groups and wear a mask. We want to see you all down the road with a smile. Pat

Dennis - Life is not too short if you have the satisfaction and enjoyment of extending the lives of others. Your help is appreciated. Pat

I retired last year and my wife retired July 5th. We scheduled a one week camping two weeks at home rotation from June 1 to August 31. Unfortunately the fridge in the FR3 broke down which took us off the road for three weeks but we’re back on the road next week. Reserved two weeks in Oregon Inlet OBX in October. Haven’t figured September out yet but we’re working on it.

New fulltimers. Left Houston mid May. About 4 weeks in AL, then 5 weeks in WI, then across ND to MT and WY. Finding small towns and our favorite places to stay away from cities and crowds. After a month in mountains will meet up with some friends in CO. Back in TX mid Nov for then Quartzite mid-Jan.

Thanks for not going.
Having the Rally is by FAR the dumbest thing and I cannot understand why they insist on having it. Too bad if this is your only income of the year. That wasn't a very good business choice now was it?
Great idea pack 500,000 people in 10 square mile area and hope for the best. Covid 19 is just going to get worse with this kind of attitude.
