My husband and I are fortunate in that we both work 4-10 and have the same weekdays off.

We typically camp every other week for 2-3 nights. Haven't done the math on that one.

I book everything way in advance. If we don't we end up with the crappy spots or no spots. We avoid holiday weekends. We have only had to shift one reservation around due to mechanical problems. We camp within 5 hours of home. Usually just 30 miles away lol. If we are doing the longer drive we leave the night before and boondock somewhere.

Im in Ontario, but from May until hunting season in November Im pretty much in it every weekend except a few. The last two winters I have taken time off and went to the southern states. This adds quite a bit to the usage. I also dont have air conditioning in my house as it only gets hot enough to need it a handful of days in the summer. I park the rv in my yard, and have a dedicated plug in. If it is too hot, I will sleep in the rv with the AC on.

After we kicked all the kids out, we averaged 54 nights a year. Since we bought the coach, things have changed. Last year was 63, this year we'll likely clear 70.

I get 15 days of vacation a year, and I only "have" to work 4 days a week. So we pack in a couple good trips (florida and utah this year). Then, if there's a weekend where we don't have house work, or some silly social function, you'll find us at one of the state parks. And of course, there's college football season, where we have reservations at a nearby lake for every home game.

GO POKES!!

Dewinterize around Easter and put the coach to sleep after Thanksgiving. Goal is every other weekend. Sometimes we make sometimes we don't. Average is right around 50 nights a year.

Hi sweetbriar. We still work 40+ a week with two kids. Have an agreement with the other half that we do one weekend a month but we can go year round here in Florida. We also do 3-4 day trips during Thanksgiving and Christmas breaks. ( kids Spring breaks are a month apart). This year our number is higher than normal due to a 30 day vacation run up to Canada. I think last year we did 39. I think this year we will top over 60.

Put me in the group that school slows us down big time

every long weekend and school breaks are camping trips. weekends to just get away are harder, kid says she is tired and doesn't want to go go go on a weekend, she wants to rest LOL ugh

Memorial Day and July 4th are the only 2 holidays we won't go camping, we do home things with family and use the lake house to swim, boat, fish etc. and have a blast here so we can easily avoid all the crazy out there on those holidays in the campgrounds. Every other day is a potential day to camp.

We heavily travel in summer when school is out.
Usual for us is about 40 days on camping trips this year, when kid hits college in about 6 more years, then 365 full time is on our hit list as fast as we can make it happen!

I am semi retired, my wife still works full time, though gets about 30 vacation days per year, plus weekends off, she has a local government job and earns about 1.5 additional vacation days per year she stays there. In our situation I have been averaging about 50-60 days per year since buying our current coach just under 2 years ago, though about 1/3 of those have been solo trips, 1/3 with my wife, and about 1/3 weekend trips with my college age son.

After the kids were out of the house, we averaged 85 days per year while still working. Upon retirement that went up to about 175 days for a few years. Now we are back to about 95 days per year.

We are at 31 so far this year. 7 more planned at Thanksgiving, but we’ll fit in several more trips if we can before then. We certainly haven’t been to every campground in New England yet, so it will be awhile before we run out of places to slip away for the weekend. Huge fan of the campgrounds that do online booking so I can find a place to visit last minute.

Around 30. Usually a 9 day trip and a lot of weekends.

We try and do 50-70 days per year. Usually hit 5-6 days per month. An RV sitting still is a waste of money.

Its good the hear at least some folks getting some utility out of their toys. I hope I can do the same. Lots of competing opportunities, but I guess since they are generally all good, that that's a good thing.

This year One week trip, plus a three weeker. Let's see if we get in another one before winter closes in.

Retired now, but when working: typically one extended weekend a month, plus 2-3 week-long vacation trips / year.

Fulltime 365 days a year, minus a few hotel stays.... still work.
