OK,

I recently did a 15 day, 7500km, expedition from the Pacific to the Atlantic. Along the way I stayed at 9 different campgrounds, and spent many hours on the interstates. During the trip I was scouring every RV that I passed, or was passed by, for iRV2 stickers. During the evenings, the wife and I would wander the campgrounds for an evening stroll, looking at licence plates, seeing what was around etc and......

Did not find a single sticker.

Saw some nice rigs, met some unique and worderful people from all over this great expanse that we call North America, but did not find a single sticker.

The list of places We stayed
Canyon Hots Springs resort - Revelstoke BC
Country Lane RV park - Okotoks Alberta
Fort Ponderosa - Belt Montana
Rushmore Shadows - Rapid City South Dakota
Adair Municipal RV park - Adair, Iowa
Michigan City Campground - Michigan City Indiana
Bayshore Estates - Sandusky Ohio
The Villages at Turning Stone - Verona NY
Wells Beach Resort - Wells Maine

I've got my sticker prominently displayed on the back of my rig. However, we haven't been on the road for some time but we are heading out in about a month for 30 days of travel .

As we are some 34 members shy of reaching 20,000 members, I have to wonder if everyone out there knows we have the stickers....

The sticker request page is on the main iRV2.com page and unless you enter there you don't see it, which means that unless you hear someone or read someone talking about it, you MISS OUT!!

THANK YOU for your support of what we feel is the premier location on the internet for RV information and FUN!!

How do others display their IRV2 stickers? I have them but hesitate to put them on the rig, because,!! how will I get them off. Will the glue come off easily, without damaging the paint job? I would use the static cling type stickers if they were available.

Novi,

you could just do what I did when I purchased a new fifth wheel,

get new stickers!

this way your old unit will continue to advertise the site.

Novi,
They will come off using a hair dryer to warm them as you peel the sticker off.

Best,

EXCELLENT answer Kid.

Novi, these stickers should come off quit easily. Our stickers being plastic will come off with little trouble, unlike the competetors stickers. If any glue is left after the have been removed...a little mayo will "lift" the adhesive right off your RV. But, like the Kid said, just replace them.....

Didn't even know there was a sticker available until I read this thread--just ordered mine. We are going on a 6 to 7 week journey in Sept. and Oct. from CA through SD to WI, then back via the south (about 8K miles). If you see my shiny new sticker, please knock.

Didn't think of using a hair dryer. And I never would have considered mayo?? I like your idea Rebelsbeach of affixing it to something then attaching it to the ladder. How did you do that? I'll have to see if I can find mine. I think I had a set with the last MH but maybe not with this one.

When I joined FMCA they gave me two of those plates....I used one as it is on the ladder and flipped the other one over and mounted a sticker on the back side...
I then used plastic zip ties which are commonly used on electrical wire and pulled them tight and cut them off...

I guess it's time to change my avatar though, as that ladder was on my Vectra and the new Essex doesn't HAVE a ladder!!
