How to determine what ac on the roof?

Got a roof leak probably from ac. Going to buy a new seal kit for it. The ac has no decal or identifying labels. How can I determine which ac I have so I can buy
a new seal kit. Also where is the best place to buy kit? Thanks

If you removed the cover and don't see the model # and other info on the actual a/c unit, look up your rig on the net or call Dutchstar and ask.

PPL Motorhomes out of Texas is where we have been buying our replacement parts because they seem to have what we need and usually a better price than CW.

Do you have the manual for your rig? Ours was in there but also stickered on the a/c unit along the side when we removed the cover.

You may just need to re-torque the 4 mounting bolts to complete the seal as recommended in the installation instructions.

What NHRA225 said! Drop the inside cover to the A/C unit and check the 4 volts that connect the A/C to the ceiling pan......they do come loose sometimes

Thanks. I took the cover off and could not find any identifying marks. What would they look like. I am so new to this and am ignorant of everything. But I can learn. I did call newmar. They said if it has nt been replaced it is model ###. It is 15 years old and I dont know how long they last. I could be original. Thanks

I did that. How will I know if that works or not? I still have water in the attic dripping.

Not knowing what unit you have --there my be a drain hose disconnected. Pull the inside cover off and your model # should be visible up inside. The seals are typically the 14 in x 14 in standard mounting seals and easy to replace.

Look for a data sheet posted on a wall inside of the wardrobes. If they used them back then it will have the make and model of every system installed in your coach.

Otherwise, what they said....

What DayL said. Might show from the inside, ours was in both places.

We replaced our living rm unit in March in Florida. It just wasn't cooling. Went from a 11,00 BTU to a 13,500 BTU. Swap one out and put the other in. Went quick.

Do you have the manuals?

These thumb screws are exactly that thumb-tight, for a Dometic = 40-50 inch/pounds. This compresses the gasket 1/2", more compression may cause the gasket to leak.
It may not be a leaking gasket. Sometimes the plenum between the intake/warm air, and the output/chilled air, becomes loose and allows the warm and chilled air to mix. This creates condensation, which has nowhere to go but down into the RV.
Make sure that plenum is completely sealed with metal duct tape.
