How to drain my fresh water tank in my FR3
When trying to drain my freshwater tank instead of a plug that unscrews I found what looks like a broken plug with this weird hose clamp. How do I remove this type of clamp without damage so I can reinstall it.

If it's the one I see, it's a cap which you unscrew. It doesn't seem to be the original. You'll need a couple pair of pliers, or possibly 1 and a small adjustable wrench. Be careful not to lose the special washer.

That is PEX crimp ring attaching a hose connector. You should have a separate cut-off to drain your freshwater tank probably in your water bay.

You can’t remove and reuse a pex crimp fitting. If you remove, you must use another pex crimp fitting and not a stainless clamp.

That white cap should unscrew from the smaller white fitting crimped into the PEX tube.

I think you'll be fine ,might be hand tight besides needing a second hand and pliers . Maybe an upstream valve was leaking by or there was a problematic valve at end PO ditched it. Don't over tighten it's gravity pressure against it.

My DIL's has the same drain set up. Someone has to crawl under the trailer and remove the cap. Might need two pairs of pliers, one for the cap and the other to hold some light pressure around the pex crimp. The cap shouldn't be real tight.
Not sure why some manufacturers won't just install a quarter turn ball valve to make things easy for the customer. Oh wait, yes I do.

I replaced the OEM plastic drain valves with quarter turn valves and extened the PEX under the floor. Part of the reason the OEM valves failed is that bugs had gotten up into the open drain pipe and plugged it up. No the water did not clear the problem. After replacing the valves I added 1/2" threaded end caps just to keep the bugs out. My end caps are only hand tight and no problem with falling off so far.
Yes that is a PEX compression clamp and is very standard PEX clamping method. They can be hard to take. You have to break or cut the clamp. Twisting it at the compression point frequently breaks it apart. I just use a Dremel tool with a metal cutting blade. Then twist the fitting out. Or use a utility knife to cut the PEX along the fitting and pull it out. The PEX line is now about 1/2" shorter. That may be a problem.
