How to place leveling blocks under dual wheels
I am on a left/right slant and have 5" of wooden blocks under both my left side jacks, which raises my wheels up in the air. I know I need to put leveling blocks under the wheels and I wonder if putting the blocks under the outside wheel only is ok. They certainly are not big enough to support both dual wheels.

Jerry-
All the instructions I have seen (including the ones in owners manuals) have said that both wheels on the end of a dual axle need to be blocked the same.

If possable, try and re=position your Coach on the site and try and get it on less of a slope before leveling......if this can't be done, ask to be moved to another site..........have the manager come and look at your Coach with the rear wheel off the ground..........and see what he has to offer.

I carry four 2' x 1' x 1.5" boards I made by laminating two 3/4 inch outdoor plywood together. We use them often as we generally camp at state and national type parks and sites tend to be level challenged. In fact, yesterday I put the last coat of paint on new ones since the old ones were starting to show some serious wear.

5 inches of blocks is not that much, I do it often when boondocking in the desert. I carry several pieces of 2 x 10 boards and can stack them like a ramp. Yes, you need to put blocks under both tires on the back axle and preferably the same amount of blocks under the jacks. Same goes for the front wheels. Some members will be content to let the wheels hang in space but I will always have my wheels in contact with earth.

I have 2x10 setups myself, as the tires are 9 inches wide. Six 36" long boards, with 45 degree cuts on each end, screwed to the top is a similar board but 24 inches long. And four 36" single boards. Can't have enough~!

One of our last campground stops on a recent trip the office had a note indicating "no trenching or hole digging allowed". I asked what that sign was really for and the young lady (they are all young at my age) said "well, I don't know, maybe they don't want you to dig holes for your tires?" About then the owner came up to the counter and said "its for people who erect tents or shelters and dig holes and trench all around the shelter and bury the flaps to keep bugs out."
Your suggestion does have merit on those sites where I have to raise the right side of the coach up so far that one needs a parachute to get out of the door and to the ground. Maybe digging a hole on the left side would work!

If they are going to support the weight of the coach BOTH dually tires on a side need blocks under them.

And there is your answer. If you add blocks to the single tire of a dual AND use the jacks to carrying a partial load there's no sure way of knowing how much weight you are shifting to the single tire and if you are exceeded it's load capacity.

Both tires need to be supported and the blocks need to be as wide or wider than the tire treads. My front and tag axle tires are 14" across the tread (365/70) and the drive axle aren't much narrower with 315/80 tires. I have yet to need blocks except at home when beside the house. Need to get a load of gravel in and build the pad up.

Actually, I have done this as well as use the blocks. One side gets dug out and the other side gets the blocks. When I camp in these kinds of places I do not have to worry about neighbors, too much work for some.

The leveling blocks are 8-1/2 inches square so I am not sure how that is supposed to support 2 dual wheels.

Seems like you would want to use two sets of blocks, one set for each dual?
