"Man up, sissy!", he said anonymously over the internet.

The OP asked for a way to convey information without confrontation.

Tell them iRV2 is a great souce of info and Email them a link to this thread.

On another note I'm kinda ticked. Bought my couch last year with 6 year old tires and immediately changed them. How come the tire dealer didn't tell me they might last 17 years?

"My tires looked like that and my tire guy freaked out, told me they were probably due for replacement" (higher authority appeal). "Just one of the expenses that goes with having nice things."

The trick to dealing with people who view themselves as self-made (or have other ego inflation) is for them to think something is their idea.
X2! This sounds like a good approach to me!

Whether that works depends on your neighbors. It doesn't work on me; I'm too suspicious and/or untrusting, I guess. But many people will interpret it simply as bonding over a shared misery.
I was thinking along the same lines. Start with compliments on the new rig. Talk a bit about how problems arise now and then. Then mention the last time you got tires and how you like the new ones, and say you replaced them due to age. Mention the 10-year "rule." Work the fact that there's a date code in there somewhere. Walk away with a clear conscience no matter how the discussion goes.

Are you intimidated by this situation? Don't be. This is a serious issue, as you realize. Be direct. You don't have to be belligerent, obviously, but I encourage you to leave no room for misunderstanding of the situation. Tell them, make it clear, make it serious, and you may save not only their lives but the lives of an innocent family that might be snuffed out because these folks didn't realize how serious it is.

I would just tell them, if I noticed something wrong with someones RV then said RV had a crash that I could have prevented. I would have a hard time dealing with that.

If they don’t like your eduction, shame on them. I wouldn’t beat around the bush about it. Save a life!

Really? When I read the initial OP statement and subsequent posts, I sensed no kind of superior attitude whatsoever. I perceived it as a genuine concern about the safety and well-being of a fellow RVer. Is that really wrong?

As a couple members have already posted, "wrong" would be saying nothing then finding out later those folks had a terrible accident caused by the tires and either died or were seriously injured, or caused death or injury to someone else.

X2 and then if they are receptive and want more information, work in the date codes and maybe more.
They are more likely to get on the defensive if you start telling them the tires are out of date and likely to blow out or worse.

I do not understand how someone would be upset with you alerting them to something so important. I would want someone to tell me. But that is just me. Chuck
