Now this sir, is an excelent idea. Sort of what is used on a job site when you are unloading, correct? Most of the signals are one handed. Up, down, left, right, stop, all one handed.

You have alternative antenna available. Through-the-glass antenna, and a combiner that uses your coach radio antenna for CB also. Neither reproduce the quality of hard-wired antenna, but all you need is to receive and transmit a mile or so while driving.
