I Can Relate

There are probably more than a few RVer's who has had "one of those days". I drove a truck for 28 years and there are days when nothing goes right. Happens to the the best of us.

I always wondered why so many people moded the exhaust on there pickup, so all the time they are geeing and hawing the truck is blasting "LOOK AT US! LOOK AT US!" Of course, the loud exhaust also means the wife, other campers and fortyeleven kids yell louder to tell him where to go...

That is why I put back up cameras on the motorhome and up high on the boat tow vehicle. It is cheaper than a divorce!

Been There, Heard That...I try not to draw attention. I never have liked a crowd of people watching what I do.

And then there are places you need to deliver to that tell you "we get big trucks backed into our dock all the time"....(Queens/Brooklyn/downtown Boston/Philly......!)
and you have a 53' trailer pulled by a 300" wheelbase tractor....

You are so right!!! You just want to strangle them, or tell them "you try to get this thing in here". I've had to back out of a lot businesses to...I couldn't imagine New York or Boston.

Driving a truck for a few decades certainly does make it easier to get into a tight spot at the camp ground.
