I found this interesting!

The Goodyear 159 series has been out of production so long that were you to find a new one, it would be well past aged out with production ending in 2003.


Said another way, this is really ancient history, as I hope no one is running 18 year old tires with a long and well publicized history of failure.

You don't have to convince me....I won't spend a penny on another Good Year product, not even a set of wiper blades. For me, once a company treats you poorly, I won't go back. The Good Year G670's were another poor set of tires that had "rivering" issues. Good Year knew about it and did nothing.

Yes, I read the same article. That model tire has been out of production since 2003, 18 years, the article was a ‘reprint’ from 2015 or 2017.
I’ve read many articles from that online magazine and now take everyone with ‘a grain of salt’ or maybe a pound.
