Great idea to put a space that seems to only collect junk & dust bunnies (or in our case retriever toys) to use.
It is a hide-a-bed. I hadn't thought about that!

We're having a cabinet shop rebuild the TV cabinet to be the same level as the other cabinets over the dash. It will have a door so it can be used for additional storage. I'm hoping they will be able to closely match the finish on the other cabinets. I'll post some pictures when we get that done.

Very nice install and very clean. Is it possible to post pictures of the lift and tell us where you purchased it. I think it looks great.

This TV Lift from only $780 - Linear Actuators, Linear Motors, Micro motors, Electric Motors is where I got the lift. They had them on sale for $540 then, but I see it's back up to $780 now. That's still a lot less than I found anywhere else. One thing I would do differently would be to buy the one with the 25" lift instead of the 32" lift. I bought that one because it was on sale, but the 25" model would have been more hidden behind the couch and it would have been fine for the 40" TV that I used which was only 24" high.
