I LOVE the fuel savings!

I took the MH to Kroger this morning to use my fuel points before they expire tonight at midnight!

I was able to use the end lanes, taking up both of course! The diesel price was $3.73 per gallon. My Kroger points gave me a .30 per gallon discount, and my PenFed Cash Rewards Visa card gave me another .17 per gallon rebate! .47 per gallon is not a bad savings in my book!

The downside is that the Kroger discount is only good for 35 gallons so I couldn't fill it up. That's OK, I'll go back and finish filling it when I accumulate more fuel points. I've definitely got more time than money!

We don't have Krogers in this area but Safeway and Albertsons do the same or similar. At this stage of the game it all helps.

I don't think you will get those kind of discounts from Flying J!

I used to take our Gas A to Krogers, and once I got the $1 per gallon discount (max 30 gals) and was elated! And then, after that first 30 gals, you could re-enter your Kroger number and get 10cents off for the rest of the fuel purchase. Alas, with my DP, it's too tight to get into our Kroger's gas station. :(

Yep. And they have many newer stations with good pump access now. My 42+toad have been in many of them, last time next to a Prevost with a big covered trailer.

To top that off, Loves and P/FJ are often in the same block and 15 to 25 cents higher.

We get $.08 per gallon at PFJ using our RV Plus Rewards Card as GS Life Members.

When we shop at Winn Dixie we accumulate savings on gas at local Shell stations. My last 2 fill ups on my toad saved $.66 and $.33 respectively per gallon. NICE!

We get discounts at Shell. Unfortunately there aren't many Shell stations in this are and the few that are here would be a real challenge to get my motorhome into. We use it to fuel the toad. That helps.
