I’m flabbergasted. Senior moment with a great ending.

I’ve spent a fair amount of time on the road and in RV parks and CGs over the past ten years or so. I will sometimes forget something and leave it behind at the CG. Not anything significant, more of an irritant than anything.

Today, I received a phone call from the CG we just stayed at in PA. The lady asked me if I left my water pressure regulator attached to the spigot. Yup, sure did.

She’s going to ship it back to me. That’s never happened before!

Thats pretty awesome.

We have left something only once.... so far. A leveling jack wasn't retracting so we used the jack from my car to press the jack up into place. It was a bit of chaos at the time and I broke the rule of setting something down where it doesn't belong and left my jack on the picnic table.

The people in front of us noticed we had left it and had contacted me through the my daughters website that is on the back of my SUV. It was a campground we frequent so the campground kept it until we returned.

I've left the Y-connector and regulator once. Now I do a walk-around before leaving and touch everything I need to check. Water spigot empty, check. Electric panel empty. Check. Jacks all up. Check. And so forth.

The last thing I left was the rubber foot mat that stays below the bottom step. My wife's never let me live it down. :(

I do a walk around the coach before we leave and check. However things I set out that I know I could leave I tie a florescent pink plastic tape around. Hammer, pole I use to extend the awning, etc.
