I have ordered a few things from them. I only use them if I don't need the item in a hurry. I think they are a clearing house outfit and don't stock the product themselves.

One thing, if you used a credit card to place the order then you have up to 30 days to dispute the charge. The credit card company will remove and hold the charge until the company answers the dispute and they have verified with you. I would seriously think of doing that rather than letting it just go.

I had a similar experience with a road master dealer I found on the internet. I ordered a base plate from them for our car and when I received the confirmation e-mail I was informed the part was on back order and they would advise me when it would ship. I got worried and did some checking of reviews on the company. NIGHTMARE! Many complaints that orders never shipped, people strung out for 90 days then no more communication. Too late to get the credit card company involved,,,,,,
I immediately called my credit card company and disputed the charges. I then wrote to the vendor and cancelled the order. Then I called them to make sure they got my cancellation. The nice lady on the phone told me they would glady refund my money. I told her that would not be necessary because I would deal directly with my credit card company. She tried to convince me there was no need to involve them. Nice try.
My credit card company immediately credited my account with the expected condition that they could reverse the credit depending on the outcome with the vendor. Took about six weeks, but the vendor cooperated.
I noticed that vendor is no longer on the internet operating under that name.
Contact your CC company and deal with them. They do this stuff everyday.

I've used them for a couple of things where they had the best price and I didn't have issues. It sounds like you've been the unlucky one. I would call your credit card company and dispute the charge. I always found that just writing everything down on paper, with date and times, like when you've called and chatted, is good evidence for the credit card company.

I find that if it's a non RV related item and even some RV related stuff, Amazon is best. PPL is EXTREMELY fast in their shipping, but occasionally doesn't have what I need, so I turn to RVUPGRADES, another great RV store.

Question

[QUOTE=tacking;2354571]Nothing arrived today, and they are still not communicating with me on this. Of course stuff I ordered from amozon last week arrived today.
Guess I need to order the part off amazon today and deal with Adventure later.

I must be the only one confused by this statement. Part arrived from Amazon today but still need to order the part from Amazon ...

When I'm in such a situation, the first thing I do is take a break and try to get my emotions to subside. Often, I can then find the patience and the path I need to resolve things. The key for me is to take full responsibility for resolving the situation despite the fact I did not create the problem.

It has taken me a long time to learn how to influence a situation not within my control and not my responsibility, but also to accept my unfortunate limitations that make solving some things excruciatingly painful, resentfully time consuming, but fun.

If you ordered by credit card, contact your credit card company and get a refund...

Finally received a message this afternoon stating that the manufacturer was at fault and it was shipped out yesterday. They sent me the FedX tracking number. Last time it was some "On Track" tracking number. My belief is that they messed up and put a rush order on it from the mfg. I will have to delay my departure date now which messes up my New Years plans. :( The part won't be here till the end of the week it seems.
So, so far all seems to be resolved. My gripe is that I felt this company left me in the dark. Showing a phone number in the contact is deceitful I feel as it does nothing at all to call it. Then to be told to go to chat and they will take care of you, and learning that chat has no access to order information, and then being directed to having to make out a "Ticket" is way beyond my patients level.

By the way, the part that came from Amazon today was a different part all together.

There are two companies I have dealt with called AMERICAN RV
One in Californig, Had what I wanted, at the best price, shipped promptly and I will (most likely) Be doing business with them again.

The other (Burton, MI, near Flint) is where I go for oil changes. and they too do a very good job... (And other service). Very pleased with them as well.. No relation to the CA company.

Get a hold of them and have then rush it, either at your cost or theirs. FedEx can change the way it's shipped midstream.

I have found through sad experience that Murphy's Law (at least one of them) states that the delay is directly proportional to the urgency. I generally try to order items that will affect my time line well in advance.

JIT (Just in Time) may work for manufacturers but I have not had much luck with it.
