Igniting Propane Stove

What do many of you do to ignite your propane stove (if you don't have a preinstalled sparker)? Currently, we just use a simple igniter (i.e. Bic) that you can buy from any store to light BBQs', candles, campfires, and other items.

I was wondering about installing a sparker though.... Found this on Amazon, anyone venture to doing something like this?

.... or do others finding the old "flint" sparkers you used to use in a high school chemistry lab work better than a Bic?

Just want to hear ideas, success, or failure stories. As always, I'm just hear for the comments... LOL.

We use one of those long fireplace lighters.

That sparker you linked to should work also.

Our 2016 Thor had a Piezo style spark lighter. But, it was a twist/turn to spark and it clanged/banged through the sheet metal of the stove. I installed a battery spark igniter to the existing wires. It works great and is SILENT. You would need a igniter with wiring to as many burners as your stove top has. I installed this one: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...?ie=UTF8&psc=1

You would need something like this to ignite any or all of your burners: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B078HW2H57...d_i=B078HW2H57

Hope this helps!

You can buy that same igniter in the grill section of Walmart or Home Depot. It will only light one of the burners per igniter, so pick your favorite burner.
