Wednesday nite Fireside Chat came and went...not one other person showed up! I was soooo lonely!

Remember - Fireside Chat - the cyber-campfire discussion time - is every Wednesday from 9 PM until we quit - Eastern time.

Rick,

I always forget about it.

Maybe if you made a post about an hour or so before it'd help some of us remember. You might catch a few of us that are hanging out in the forums.....is it worth a try.

Maybe you could use this thread for the reminder post?

Unfortunately, I was not here an hour before. I did rush home to be here in time for chat, though. I guess I'll have to try harder at being a more effective chat host.

Rick,

I didn't intend to infer that you weren't an effective chat host, not what I meant at all.

You've done a great job with this and T truly hope our members will continue participating as they have during the past several years that you've hosted this chat.

This is funny! I have not thought to go to the chats, but was reading almost the same sort of comments on my sons gaming web page, for xbox online gamers. They were feeling negleted and decided that summer brings so much extra things to do and yard work to do etc. that the chat goes down makedbly. Had to grin.
Sorry you were lonely.

Colette, you bring up an interesting point IRT summer.

Rick, since there were apparently only ONE f you in Fireside and only 6 Winnebago members in chat, have you ever thought about a summer sabbatical?

Not sure about those Workhorse folks,as I've never heard their participation levels mentioned, must be a well kept secret...

Just a suggestion....

Steve, I think the "history" of the chat rooms is they were run for an hour....At least that's what I was told....

I've seen them run over a bit and there's no reason that says they can't if you're engrossed in some discussion.....maybe about apron color or something...
