Indoor Storage in NW Indiana

While I have found a few places to store for the Winter, I am ultimately looking for indoor storage with in/out privileges.

I appreciate if full timing the rig is exposed 24/7 but much prefer to find a location to keep it indoors and protected from the elements. It will sit more often than being used for the next few years and then we plan to FT in it.

Thanks in Advance.

The lack of responses confirms my fears - not many (if any) options.

Have you checked with Craigslist? I was looking for indoor storage for a 5th wheel I had without much luck. Put an add on CL in the Parking/Storage section describing what you are looking for. I found a place fairly close to home, the price was very reasonable and I didn't have to pay until I picked it up in the spring.

@TCollins,

Thanks for the note. My leads were all via Craig's List but as stated above I am looking for indoor storage with in/out privileges. I did find a few places that are not climate controlled I could keep it from November-March but that is not what I am targeting.

Looking for indoor that I can use year round with the ability to remove from storage within a few days notice.

Thanks again for the comments!

What about a real estate agent or property manager? They may have warehouses or garages of various sizes they manage or are willing to rent. I would think it would be one of the more costly options.

One of the options was via a property manager. Just not a well managed property so not in/out privileges.

Contact the county fair grounds and see if they rent out storage space over the winter? Our fairgrounds store boats and RV over the winter. Or a local farmer that may have space.

While I am nowhere close to Indiana the indoor storage options here for heated storage with 24/7 in and out is plenty expensive. Roughly $200.00 a month and up. All the ones here are owned and booked by the same commercial storage companies that rent lockers and garages. Just google storage and surf their websites for RV storage. Some will have it and some will not.
