Induction cooktop cutting board cover

Does anyone know where to get the cutting board that fits perfectly over the induction stovetop? This would be for a 2022 Entegra Cornerstone. I emailed Entegra and they can’t help. However, I just saw those cutting boards at Entegra Homecoming. Any help is appreciated! (Does not have be Entegra brand.)

You might try to Google. I also did a 'Search' on this forum.

I called Entrgra.
They referred me to the vendor.
They stopped putting those in because the people would drop them and break the cooktop.
I guess they are heavy. I called the vendor, they weren’t interested in selling me one.
I might have a local cabinet maker do one for me.

On my 2014 Dutch Star, the induction cooktop was surface mounted, with just the glass on top of the countertop. I ordered a wood cutting board that was about an inch larger than the cooktop. I added rubber feet to the underside so that it stayed centered on the glass (mounted just outside the glass perimeter).

On my 2019 Dutch Star, the induction cooktop is recessed and covered with two pieces of matching Corian that has a cutting board on the flip side. I still like and use the wooden cutting board.

I recall, some time ago, that some suggested using a solid wood top for a Husky 27 in. rolling tool cabinets available from Home Depot: https://www.homedepot.com/p/Husky-26...0001/203949843

At $24.97, it was suggested to fit perfectly on top of the induction cooktop. Its dimensions are listed as: 26.3 in. W x 17.9 in. D x 0.7 in. H

I chose to use a plastic cutting board cut to fit from this company: https://www.cuttingboardcompany.com/

I found that you sizing the cutting board larger than the cooktop and using some rubber feet helps keep it centered over the cooktop.

Take care,
Stu

For that large of a wood cutting board it would be difficult to keep sanitary and disinfected in a RV. Eventually, they don't look as good as a new one does. We like a small plastic one that is easily washable. We don't deal with large pieces of meat anymore for slicing.... mainly veggies and you don't need a huge one for that.

If you look closely at the cutting board, there are no cuts in it. Being an anal twit, I didn't want to ruin it. We prepare food on it, but any cutting, we put one of those thin plastic mats on top of it. It's seasoned once a year with bee's wax that keeps it from absorbing liquids.

It’s funny to mention it, but I just noticed yesterday that the underside of my OEM induction covers is a cutting board. At first I thought they were heat pads to offset heat from the stove, but the stove burner doesn’t get hot enough to hurt anything.

Yes, Newmar offered that as a feature a few years ago. Again, being an anal twit, I didn't want to ruin them.

Reminded me of an aunt who would not use her cooktop or oven because she wanted to keep it new for when they sold the trailer.

I know I'm bad, but not as bad as others. We had some friends that removed their shower curtain and never showered in the RV. The next owner got an unused shower and curtain. My sister covered the passenger and driver seats in her Meridian until they sold it.

There are some SMALL things that can't be replaced that I don't like to ruin or mar up.

Hey Don,
Can you show a photo of the rubber feet you used for your cover.
Thanks
Jim
