Insect stains on blinds

We had a "wasp invasion" last summer. They managed to get in by the thousands through the power cable entry. Many remained "prisoner" within the cabinet making a nest, but some managed to squeeze through and left some nasty stains on our blinds which I haven't been able to remove. I've tried Spot Shot without any success, and obviously, bleach isn't an option. Any ideas anyone?

Thanks

Try Folex, carpet & upholstery cleaner. I have used it for years at the stix & brix, now in the rv. It works great on any stains and doesn't leave a watery looking stain on the blinds. I get it at Target or Wal Mart.

Thanks Jan. I'll have to see if they carry that at Walmart in Canada. I'll definately give it a try, because it would be a darn site cheaper than having to replace the blinds.

Folex

Well, I've searched high and low and no sign of "Folex". We don't have Target in Canada, and the local Walmart doesn't seem to carry Folex, so I'm wondering if there is an equivalent. Our Walmart carries a product called "Resolve". Anyone think it might be as good?

No, Resolve is not as good. After many years of having cats and their hairball messes on the rugs, Folex is the best cleaner I've used. Do you have Home Depot or Lowes? Sometimes, they carry it. I looked on the bottle, there's a website Folex Instant Carpet Spot Remover removes spots and stains and a phone (probably USA) 800-794-7588, it's in Spring Valley, CA 91976.
