Instapot or Ninja Foodi??
I have been talking up the Instapot to DW and she surprised me with the Foodi for Xmas. Have not heard about the Foodi till I opened the package. I have read most of the thread in here about the Insapot and thought it would be nice to have in the kitchen. A little research this morning leads me to believe the Foodi is an Instapot with an air fryer added to it. If you had a choice what one would you take? We are not full timers but would take it on the road with us, we have plenty of counter space and bay storage.
Thanks
Happy New Year

Foodi is great. Not only is it a pressure cooker, air fryer/crisper. But it could also be used as a crock pot.
Enjoy it!

When I purchased my first Electric Pressure Cooker it was the Power Cooker. I was having a difficult time converting the prevalence of "Instant Pot" recipes so I gave it to my DIL and purchased a 6 qt Instant Pot. (Note: Instant Pot, not Insta Pot or Instapot).
Many of the Electric Pressure cookers have been redesigned over the past year or two and improved. Although I have not looked hard at the Ninja Foodi I have glanced at it and it looks like a very diversified unit.
Regardless of all the bells and whistles when it comes to Pressure Cooking the one thing I prize the most is a button that says "Manual" or "Pressure." Those buttons leave creativity to the user and a larger variety of recipes that do not need conversion are out there.
I hope someone that has one comes along soon. It does look like a very useful item. I do love my Instant Pot, and have subsequently purchased the 8 qt. That is also something you can think about. Just two of you. 6.5 qt Ninja would do well. Also for four, but more than that look at the 8 qt if they have it yet.
You will most likely not go wrong with either one. I have the Instant Pot 8 qt Ultra.

Instant Pot vs Ninja Foodi
Ok, so last year, I/we (Christmas) also got caught in the Instant Pot craze, and have given it the blessing to occupy space in the RV when that day finally arrives for FT.
But I, as others above, have taken notice to the Ninja Foodi's additional capabilities, (browning).
So what say you with the Ninja Foodi, yeah, or nay for the limited space in an RV?

We started with one 6 quart Instant Pot a year ago. It was intimidating at first but there is so much information and recipes available that we became "pro's" very quickly. Now we have an extra 8 quart for larger things and another 6 quart for the Excel. One pot meals are very handy for the Excel for things like chili, spaghetti bake, beef stroganoff, soups, etc. We may not use them every day at home or on the road but they don't miss many.
A while back I looked at the Ninja at a Kohl's and then looked it up on Amazon. The reviews are pretty good on Amazon. Just be sure to filter out the Vine reviews of folks who get one free just to review it. I never trust those. Verified purchase reviews are pretty good but some have mentioned the larger weight and size being an issue. That might be a factor in a compact rv kitchen.

We just started using our Foodi and so far I'm impressed. But it can't really do anything that can't be done on your stove. It just does it faster. So far a very impressive chicken and great fries. It is pretty large and heavy, but it's smaller than the three appliances it replaces. We've had very good luck with Ninja brand in the past.

Ninja Foodi
I know this question is kinda old. But my wife and I took out our oven in our 5th wheel and installed shelves. (we thought the oven was terrible) went from a Ninja 3 in 1 cooking system to the Ninja Foodi 9 in 1 XL Deluxe. It is amazing! we store it in 1 of the shelves i made where the crappy atwood stove top oven used to be. We have a Nuwave induction cook top also. Its just the 2 of us and it all works out perfectly!!

I would love the Foodie but it is too big and heavy for us to store.
