introducing a new HR model

I have a Class A '03 Vacationer 27' Gasser with bed that comes down from ceiling (magic bed) no slides, one unadjustabe back up camera.. It was in the HR and under another name with Badger line up. Gas and diesel.

Now see the name Vacationer on an HR '01 in a totally different model and floorplan configurations.

Is it from another Gasser model in HRs line up and rebadged? It falls between the Arista and Admiral on the HR website.

It has 1 fullside slide out, bedroom, kitchen, living room, etc..
Nothing like my '03.

Thanks:
Richard

Yeah, most of the RV makers are pretty casual about the model names. They come and go and get re-assigned to different models and even combined with other names just to keep everybody confused.

Two examples:
I have a Class A Coachmen "Santara" from the mid-90's, yet at the same time Coachmen also made a "Santara" model on the Class C. Totally different motorhome, yet the same name.

Also back in the late 90's, Fleetwood combined the upper-line "Southwind" name with the bottom-level "Storm" to create a new model, the "Southwind Storm". I don't know what that was all about but they sold a bunch of them.

What you probably have is a 'brand label' version of a Safari Trek. This was introduced in the early 90's before Safari was bought by Monaco, and continued production in various versions until 2006. They also bought Holiday Rambler, and offered the Trek without some of the features, as part of the HR product line. Monaco went bankrupt, is now owned by Navistar, and has resumed some production, but nothing like a Trek regardless of the name.

Check out the Trek Tracks forum. Lots of good information http://www.nwtfc.com/forum/portal_content.asp
