Looks nice, but I'm not a fan of so many "doo dads", so I wouldn't buy one.

Seems to me that the mounting brackets could be reversed rather easily....

They are not reversible as the plaque mounts from the rear.

Looking at this pic, it looks like the brackets and standoffs could be removed by simply removing some screws, 2 per side. Is this not the case? Are the standoffs molded in?

Thanks..

Looking at that pic, it does appear that it may be reversible.

The ones I bought in 2007 were not.

Now, if they made it a license plate and gave me one, I'd likely put it on the camper, but I doubt I'll ever buy one .

I'd go $20 to $25 if they were similar to FMCA's so I could use my ladder with out removing it.

I was able to use my ladder with little problem by using the rear mount frames.

The plaq is removable by pulling 1 clevis pin. The screws that are seen on the face of the plaq can be reversed and the stand offs and the plaq can be mounted to the rear of the ladder rails.

I would buy the plaque but not the mount, I make mine out of aluminum.

I have a couple old FMCA plates. I turn them backwards and secure with wire ties. I place them just below a step. They do not interfere with the use of the ladder.
