Is Silverleaf gone?
I have the Silverleaf vmsPC system and was checking for updates. Their website is gone. Anyone know if it's temporary or what is happening?

"New Website
Our website has changed! We're currently working on converting our website to a new framework, which will mean better ease of use, improved security, and a more attractive style. Right now, you'll probably notice that a lot of the files, images, and downloads don't show up, and the site might be a little difficult to navigate in some places at first - it will probably take a day or more to get the basic layout setup, so please bear with us."

hmmm, firefox shouldn't be a problem...IE might be (until the new Beta Edge comes out).
Maybe that's why they need a website overhaul
FYI, make sure your browser(s) are up to date (for security)

The home page loads fine in Firefox 66.0.3 and the downloads page seems active.

Something isn't right. The site times out every time I try to pull it up. I used firefox, Explorer, Chrome and even tried with my iphone and I get nothing.

For all those having issues clear your browser history and cookies and try again.

X2 on clearing your sessions and cookies (fresh start).
I took the time to wander through the site with the latest versions of FireFox, Chrome, Safari, Opera and Internet Explorer and, other than a broken image link I found the site working fine.
HOWEVER... They do NOT support HTTPS. If you have a browser that has the feature of "HTTPS Everywhere" (will only connect via https) the site will will be unreachable if you do not disable that feature.

Silverleaf, Alive and Well, thank you ;-)
Hey folks, Art here . We're indeed rebuilding the website. The back-end was built on Druple 6 many years ago and woefully out of date. Some of you may have experienced the CAPCHA re-direct or error when signing up for a forum account as a knock-on effect. . To get back up to speed with the current platform we migrated everything to Druple v8.x --It worked but it broke some stuff-- . We lost a bunch of formatting, content and some...well, much was historical and not as helpful, so we lost some older content-pages which needed to go anyway. MrWzrd nailed it http://www.irv2.com/forums/images/smilies/thumb.gif, the seemingly broken page is due to a forced roll out of the HTTPS filter on some browsers. This is commonly enabled by default. . For sites that collect money, personal details and such via web-forms this _is_ essential! However... our websites are not built for that. We don't collect money, financial data or personal details. Your email addy (for the Forum) can even be a bogus one if you wish--once you're signed up. . Some see this as a way to remain off-grid socially and that is not ill-founded. We applaud your every effort to not get spammed or treated as a comodity! ;-) . So, the takeaway is that its safe to 'whitelist' our site for non-HTTPS. . . cheers . . Art Silverleaf Electronics //
