Iso desiel pusher for Traveling for work

I travel for work, I dont work from a motorhome. I'm looking to get a class A diesel pusher to travel in. Any recommendations for a good self contained reliable class A? I will be using the generator daily as I'll be staying at our locations instead of rv parks. I'll be traveling to Ohio, NJ, Tenn and Fla mostly, so I'll need something with the capability of 4 seasons. Any ideas?

There are literally thousands to look at.

Start with price range. What do you want to spend?

New? Used?

They're all pretty good. Tiffin and Newmar are above average while Thor is below average but, like everything else, you get what you pay for.

BTW, they're all self-contained.

Have owned 2 Newmar Dutch Stars. Ordered both to our specifications. After 13 yrs the '02 4090 was the most reliable rig I've ever owned. Wish we had ordered a third.

No more than $65,000. I would prefer Cummins. Does a 3 way fridge cool good going down the road so dont have to run the generator. What is a good chassis for extensive traveling approx 20,000 to 30,000 miles a year?

Used so most of the kinks are worked out.

Any RV absorption fridge (2-way or 3-way) can run on propane while traveling, so no genset use. However, residential (compressor) fridges can and do run via an inverter while driving, so that's not a significant factor either.

Chassis: 99% of diesel coaches will be either a Freightliner or Spartan chassis. Spartans are all mid or upper grade, but Freightliner will sell a cheap variant of a chassis to an coach builder who is trying to build a bargain priced rig. If equipped with a Freightliner chassis, make sure it is configured adequately for the size of the coach. My American Coach Freightliner chassis was top-notch, but I've seen some on other brands that the coach builder really low-balled to keep the price down.

Get a coach that has a diesel fueled generator, not Propane. Propane gensets use substantially more fuel (less energy per gallon) and the size of the fuel tank is smaller as well (diesel gensets operate from the main coach fuel tank).
