It finally happened

Gasoline has finally gone higher than diesel here in my home town in WI. Gas 3.97 and diesel at 3.90. I finally feel good about my diesel, well I wouldn't trade for a gasser I'll keep my DP even if fuel is higher. Jim

Interesting indeed, kinda the same way, we feel about our old gasser, wouldn't trade for a DP even if diesel fuel was much lower.

Cheers and safe travels...

Deisel prices here in central OK down to $3.62
Gas prices $3.29 .... without ethanol.
And if you catch it right, a tornado can provide some great MPG.

Yeh, but our fuel is not 20% crap like bio diesel or ethanol. Calgary we are at 1.30/lt.+- for the good stuff.
Every time I fill up with fuel in the US my mileage drops about 2.0 MPG due to the 5% plus bio diesel additive. So where is the saving?

Savings and gas prices do not go together.

At home it's $3.739 and $3.999 at the ARCO here in town and I can find diesel lower if I look around some. Last diesel I bought was $3.549 before we went to Seven Feathers.
It hurts to fill a 150 gallon tank, but it does allow some latitude for finding lower prices.

Diesel has not been lower than even the highest grade of gas for years in eastern WA. $3.90-something for gas, to just over $4.00 for diesel currently. We were amazed to see diesel less expensive than gas along the Oregon coast last summer. (In the fall, it was not the cheapest.)

DW has tuned up the Cat, added performance monitors and gauges. We get 9-10 mpg average, which is as good or better than our previous gas Class A's. Our Tradewinds is bigger and heavier than previous coaches as well, so we are satisfied.

Jim,

You saw Sagamore's post about gas prices. Diesel is around $3.50 here.

When you and Kate coming to visit?
