Not wanting to offend any of our Attorney Members, if you like RVing, you can't be all bad, but for all others:

Attorneys like to boast that they are required to operate by an Attorney Code of Ethics. The problem is Attorneys developed the code and interpret the code. Their code is so far from what a normal human being would interpret as ethical or moral, it's a joke.

That being all said, most Attorney's are a joke. If you were to judge most by their billing hours, the youngest would be 108 years old. The Attorney code calls for all to keep the process going until they have each billed enough money or the clients have none left.

No wonder most people have prejudices against them. Prejudices tend to be earned over time and only different behavior will reverse a prejudice. It's not most likely that Attorneys as a group will change their behavior to the point where people will adjust their prejudice.

And that's all I have to say on that subject!

Jim, You have NEVER read the Code of Ethics, I am sure. I have.

I have personally filed complaints against fellow lawyers for violations. I am required by the code to do so. I admit there are bums in the business but what profession is clean?

I don't mind good lawyer jokes and have heard them all. But, I will not tolerate hate filled invective without challenge.
