It's a different question on TPMS

I know there have been a lot of thread's started on TPMS. I did read several of them but did not see this question. We are purchasing the EEZRV system. My tow car already has a manufactured system on it. Can I add the EEZ monitoring caps on the valve stem? If so does the EEZ cap effect the reliability of the manufactures system? Also, I have read you need metal valve stems does anyone have an opinion on this?

The OEM sensor is internal. It will not interfere with your add-on system or visa versa

One TPMS that offers internal sensors is TireSafeGuard

Mounting your coach TPMS sensors is of little advantage, except maybe if in a high theft area. If you were thinking "internal" made them compatible with your tow car's sensors, it ain't gonna happen. Since no standard has come along, every TPMS manufacturer now does his own communication between sensor and monitor/display, both in terms of radio transmission and the data sent.

Metal valve stems are a big plus if the stems are anything other than very short. The sensors weigh somewhere between 3/4 and 1 ounce and can stress the rubber stems if they vibrate much, e.g. an out of balance tire. EEZE recommends metal stems whenever their flow-thru sensors are used (they are larger).

I've used Pressure Pro sensors on the towed cars rubber stems for over a dozen years with no problems, but others have reported difficulties. Your mileage may vary!

TST offers internal sensors and does SmarTire like I have. But SmarTire has pulled out of the RV market but there are still dealers out that there that can supply them. Had internal SmarTire sensors installed on my CR-V late last year, now I can monitor all 12 tires while towing and they don't interfere with the CR-V system.
