It's hard to search online for motorhomes within a price range

Some dealerships use MSRP, others use lowest, others say to call for best price.

I'm going to Florida next month and want to look at lazy days but their used prices are astronomical!

I am buying the online NADA subscription before we go but I am confused.

It will be a class a or diesel class C truck one. We just have to sort out some decisions at home.
Got a starter A-Frame but moved to a Super-C then to a Travel Trailer. Looking for number 4!

Prices given, no matter how or who prices them are nothing more than a benchmark. You need to know what you are willing to pay and what in return you will get for your money. It is getting to the time that the snow birds are leaving and Florida will lose thousands of potential RV customers. Shop wisely , the deals are out there.

Anytime a salesman is involved add 20% for used. Watch RVs on craigslist for a deal on new and used. Don't be afraid to travel and have a knowledgeable person look at it for you. No rust or mold in the southwest.
Good luck

We've dealt with Lazydays on several coaches and they will barter with you. In fact I have emailed a salesman and he has emailed back a deal. This is the the deal we ended up with on our last coach. We thought it was a good one too! Use the numbers slashed out on the web site to get an idea of whether it is one to further study...

You can go th PPL Motihomes and search, they even have a completed sales area so you can get an idea on sale price for a particular unit. Type in "sold" in the search function

I recommend RVTrader.com. They have a HUGE selection, and you can search by price range, plus many other criteria!

Good luck, happy trails, and God bless!

i don't think i was entire clear...I meant to say that because some dealerships advertise their low prices and others only list MSRP it is difficult to know what really is in a certain price range.

I do not believe that any dealer will be willing to 'post' their best price. Find a MH in the year/style range that you are looking for and deal from there. When we bought our current MH last year, on line, we made offers and the dealer came back with counter offers. After a few months we both agreed on a price.
You need to do some 'leg' work to make a deal work. Do you know what you can afford and what level of payments you can handle? This information helps when working with any dealer.
Good luck on your search and attempt to have some fun. It took us four months to make the deal on our current MH.

EBay is your friend too.
You can see what units have sold for, what people are asking, and many dealers list there as well. In fact, I'd say 90% are dealers, and they all post hundreds of pics of exteriors and interiors.

That's how we bought our rig.

Go to craigslist, you can sort by price range and most of the dealers advertise there anyway.
