Jump start 7500 Onan located in front of Bus

Hi where would you connect Positive and Negative cables to jump start this unit with the generator in the front of the bus and completely covered with an engine cover. Only thing visible is the start switch and the oil change dipsticks.
Thank you

Welcome to iRV2.

Onan gen set, battery power and ground , are connected at the back , lower edge of the unit , ( opposite of what you can see) so you'd have to go under the coach to access the connections.

Are your coach and chassis batteries charged ?
Have you tried starting the gen set , with the coach engine running ?

Hi ! Welcome to IRV2! We're sure glad you joined us!

We need more info on your problem. What happens when you press the start button? No sound or fast clicking from the starter solenoid?

Good luck, happy trails, and God bless!

The genset starts from either the house or chassis battery bank, so just jumper to the appropriate one. Most coaches in the last 20 years or so start the generator from the chassis batteries, so if those are dead you can jump there and start either coach engine or genset.

Try the Aux (Emergency) start switch before you try to jump it.
