Just a short note that needs to be addressed

I am a member of many forums, and have noticed something really unique about this one.

The level of intelligence, knowledge, civility and maturity of the members here never ceases to amaze me. I have posted a few "noobie" questions, and they have been answered in a timely and intelligent way, WITHOUT cockiness and drama.

I like....no LOVE....that.

Not to further take anymore of your time, but a heartfelt THANK YOU x 10 for ALL of your help, and for making this site so enjoyable to surf. I continually learn every day, and it's a forum that is so, SO much better than any other vehicular forum I've been a member of.

Especially the ones associated with BMW. Shees....

Pretty impressive membership, huh? I went from never having owned any sort of RV to full timing in a 40DP and don't think I could have avoided many disasters without this forum. It's been a great resource for me.

Thanks for the compliments. Yes, this is certainly the best RV related forum I've found. I cannot tell you how many times other members have helped me and saved me $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ and aggravation.

Thank you for the compliment. Our members truely ARE the best, bar none.

Hey, we were all "noobies" at one point in time so we all remember what it was like having to ask for help. Screwing up is the best way to gain experience & coming here for answers is the best way to avoid screwing up.

Welcome, we have been camping for over 16 years (FMCA 181400) and found this site in August of last year. We feel like Noobies on this site. The info never stops, we read 75% of the posting and keep a log of all the info we have read. When camping we tell all that we meet about the site. With over 50,000 plus members we are supperised how many campers never heard of iRV2.

I joined this forum last summer while I was looking at a used Moho the great people of this site helped me understand what to look for and gave me the confidence to fly to Ohio pick up our new to us RV and drive it back to North Carolina.

I have never owned a RV and have not been camping since I was 11 years old. It has been relatively easy to adapt to this great life style due to the help of IRV2.

Thanks Peacekeeper6 for allowing me the opportunity to thank everyone for their help. Keep it between the lines.

I agree with you wholeheartedly, PeaceKeeper. I have heard of some horror stories on other chat boards, and I've been on other boards (not necessarily RV related) that were full of rude, vile individuals that made it their mission to respond with negative intentions. I've not felt at all out of place or unwanted here.

The secrets to all this? They are found in the mission statement of irv2.com. Then each member treats others as they wish to be treated

I couldn't agree more! After I found thios forum I decided to look for one that wad specific to my rig. I found one and became a member. I cancelled that membership in less than a week due to rude and cocky people. I'm very glad to be a member of a forum whose other membership is so helpful and laid back, the same traits I love about camping!
