Kangacruz Aspire RS 2017

We have a 2017 Kangacruz Aspire RS. Haven't used it in awhile. They are no longer in business. It won't start. May need new batteries. Do not have a manual. Anyone know what size batteries are in this and how to hook them up?

That's a golf cart right?

Is the battery , or batteries, still in it and have you measured the voltage of the existing battery?

The batteries still in there. Afraid to disconnect anything as I do not have a manual and would have no idea how to reonncect. The batteries are 12 Volt, 80 AH x 3 of them, sealed , Maintenance free

Batteries are probably unrecoverable, but it does not hurt to try. Charge for 48 hours then retest. Monitor the batteries for high temperature. Disconnect charger if they get hot.

How was the gulf cart stored?
Was it stored with battery discharged?
Did they discharge while in storage?
Were they stored connected to charger?

Specialty battery shops may have equipment to recover deeply sulfated batteries. It takes a while on special equipment and may not work.

The easiest path is to replace.

Lead acid batteries are commodities. Batteries probably have labels that provide necessary specifications. Physical size and placement of connections is important. Battery capacity and chemistry is important.

Get matching batteries.
Take pictures of batteries and closeup of labels.
Take pictures to battery shop for identification and quote for replacement.
Take one battery out and take to shop for identification.
Lots of methods are possible.

Use the current connection pattern for replacing. Take wide view and close up pictures. Label each cable end. Take one battery at a time out and replace. Lots of methods are possible.

Take a picture of the batteries with your cellphone before you do anything.
