Kathy Ireland Recliners

Does anyone have personal experience with Kathy Ireland Recliners from Camping World? We are looking to replace our jack knife sofa.

I'm not familiar with that brand, but personally would not want to buy from Camping World.
You can buy recliners, reclining love seats or reclining sofas, etc. from any home furniture store and use in your RV; just make sure they will fit through the door and in the space you have in the RV. We got our loveseat recliner from Ivan Smith and really like it. It replaced a Flexsteel 93 inch long sofa that was not comfortable for watching TV, reading or relaxing.
Thanks,

We are pretty happy with the La-Z-boy recliners that we bought last year.

Buy from whoever you want. Make sure the back comes off so you can get it through the door.

We tossed our Lippert crap recliners and bought 2 new ones from Wayfair.

Better quality and free shipping.

Don't forget Rooms 2 Go. Just measure the space. You will probably get a much lower price also.

Did you end up purchasing these? I just ran across your post while searching for info about the Kathy Ireland recliners. I've seen them at Camping World and the swivel rocker recliner is very comfortable. I'm looking at one to fit a specific space in my small home living room.

No. We found a Lazy Boy sofa/recliner that had some blemishes on the backside. It was marked down considerably. Was very easy to dismantle the three sections--only 2 rails underneath held them together. I mounted the two end sections in the rv and now have extremely comfortable recliners with all the bells and whistles. They sit a little further from the wall than I would like but not too bad. What I also liked about going with the LB is that all the parts are readily available if I have a problem.

Are there any concerns about weight differences? Does home furniture weigh significantly more? It generally seems more solid.

I haven't noticed any issues with the slide. You're right, most of the rv specific recliners we looked at were very cheaply made. I have not seen the Ammish recliners in person. They are probably of better quality.

Don’t buy them! Bought two of these from CW. Within 2-3 years, the leatherette finish has come off all over the chairs! Called CW but they referred me to the manufacturer (Ashley), as they are out of warranty.

I have the recliners/HT seating. I would trade you if the sleeper sofa is in good shape.
