Kenda LT tires For a Class C?

Has anyone seen anything recent on Kenda tires for Class C's or light trucks? They seem to have had some problems with other types of tires a few years ago. If it matters, I'm looking at the KR05 tires in size LT215/85R16, Load Range E.

For the "do a search" vigilantes , searches on a few different RV sites come come up empty or only with stuff about trailers/fifth wheels.

Since people only post about problems, it would seem "no news is good news."

There are many, many forum posts about tire problems with third world tire companies that RV manufacturers put on travel trailer and fifth wheel trailers. I'm talking abnormal failures on brand new trailers.

Granted these are ST tires, but Kendas are coming from factories in Taiwan, China, and Vietnam--third world manufacturing countries by my standards. I avoid tires built in such places.

I use TireRack.com to learn about tires and compare their delivered prices to DiscountTireDirect.com and TreadDepot.com. All have great levels of customer service.

There are many, many good brand tires that are reasonably priced, especially in LT E rated 10 ply tires. A Class C is not something you want to drive with sub-par tires on.

Thanks but I really avoid shopping online. I live locally (wherever that might be at a particular time) so I make every effort to shop locally.

There don't appear to be any current problems with Kenda tires (and none reported with truck tires) so I got them yesterday and I'll see how they work. If they go well for a few thousand miles, I'll put 4 more on the back.

I was impressed that my local dealer installed metal valve stems without being asked. He must want repeat business. You don't get that by selling "maypops".
